


AXGL New Jersey is a regional division of the Amateur Extreme Golf League, a competitive coed-team-based amateur golf league designed for high-level players from private golf clubs across the state.
The league brings together club members to represent their home clubs in a structured season that emphasizes coed-team strategy, competitive play, and club pride.

AXGL New Jersey is part of what will be a multi-state expansion of the Amateur Extreme Golf League, creating regional rivalries and a national competitive structure while building the foundation for the future launch of the PEX Golf League.
AXGL Scoring System (Points-Based)
Points are awarded per hole per player.
Scoring Breakdown:
• Double Eagle: +6
• Eagle: +4
• Birdie: +3
• Par: +1
• Bogey: -1
• Double Bogey: -2
• Triple or worse: -3
Bonus Skill Points:
• Fairway in Regulation (FIR): +2
• Green in Regulation (GIR): +2
• Sand Save (Par or better): +1
Hole out from off the green +1
Player scoring the low round of the match earns a 5 point bonus for their team.

Before the match:
• A coin toss determines Offensive and Defensive holes for each team
· OFFENSE:
• If the offensive player:
o Hits the fairway in regulation AND
o Outdrives the defensive opponent
• They may choose ONE:
o Option A — Move their own ball 10 paces along line of play closer to the green
o Option B — Move opponent’s ball backward towards the tee 10 paces.
• In either case, the defensive player would forfeit any points earned for hitting the fairway in regulation
· DEFENSE:
• If the defensive player hits their approach shot on the green in regulation and is closer to the pin than his opponent, he may choose to move his opponent of the green along the line of approach
• In this case the offensive player would forfeit any points earned for hitting the green in regulation
• If they elect not to move their opponent off the green, their opponent would keep their points earned

· Teams may substitute players from their shot maker player pool or from other starting positions for clutch shots
· Any player substituted in must complete the hole they entered in before they can be substituted out
· Maximum 6 substitutions per match per team
